GEAR COUPLINGS
Toothed oscillating couplings have been designed to compensate all the angular and parallel misalignment that may be found connecting the shafts of two machines.
Toothed oscillating couplings assure freedom of movement, transmission safety and operating reliability.
MANUFACTURE FEATURES
- exclusive use of alloy, pressed and heat-treated steels;
- precise machining with C.N.C. machines;
- special convex toothing allowing angular misalignment of +1° on each half coupling;
- application versatility thanks to the possibility of obtaining different mountings only by simply inverting the toothed hubs in the same coupling;
- easy lubrification thanks to two grease nipples being fitted on each half-coupling;

ELASTIC COUPLINGS WITH PINS
Universal elastic couplings are designed to absorb torsional knocks, and vibrations and to compensate for any misalignment in the angular and parallel connection of two shafts rotating machines, guaranteeing at the same time the required transmission of the power.

- Half couplings steel C40 UNI 7845, hot-pressed or forged and normalized
- Pins steel C40 UNI 7845, lathed and grinded for forced mounting
- Rubber elements in oil-resistant synthetic rubber NBR 70 ShoreA with canvas insertions

FLEXIBLE DISC COUPLINGS
Flexible disc couplings are designed to permit shafting between two engines and to absorb impacts and vibration. Also, it’s synonymous of security and guarantees shafting transmission even without a perfect alignment.
MANUFACTURE FEATURES
- No torsional clearance, necessary for using on engine with a lot of starts, stops and reversal of control
- No lubrication
- No maintenance
- High torsional stiffness
- Ability to work in every condition from -30 °C to + 240°C
- The possibility to replace element blades without displacement of the coupled machine.
- Exclusive use of forged steel, and the possibility to use with alloy or inox steel
- Blades elements are built of AISI 304

Thomas Disc Couplings
Thomas Disc Couplings are torsionally rigid, all-metal flexible couplings that require no regular maintenance or lubrication. Angular, parallel, and axial misalignment are accommodated through flexible disc packs which can be visually inspected without disconnecting equipment.
