INDUSTRIAL MOTORS WITH BRAKE
Motors are closed and externally ventilated designed for very heavy-duty cycles, in single or double speed.
The brake group is supplied on series with “3ph. AC” electromagnet but DC version is also available on request.
Motors can be driven by inverter and in this case, the brake supply must be separated from the one of the motor.
The motor frames are in die-cast pressed aluminium from 71 to 160 frames and in cast iron for frame 180.
The brake can be manually released with a special screw supplied with the motor. The friction tracks are in cast iron and auto-ventilated.
MARINE MOTORS WITH BRAKE
Motors are closed and not ventilated, suitable for S2 duty or S1 with forced ventilation, in single or double speed.
This series has been designed for applications where the brake motor is often in contact with water such as marine environment.
These motors are painted as standard with special painting for total protection.
The protection level of this series is IP66 certified. Motor frames are in aluminium from 90 to 160 frames and cast iron from frame 180.
Many options are available such as anti-condensation heaters, thermal protections, epoxy painting and many others.

MODULAR FLAMEPROOF AND STANDARD BRAKES
The concept is to apply an independent brake unit to a standard flanged motor or to a transmission unit. The flanges input and output follow both IEC or NEMA standards.
Explosion-proof brakes are available in IEC flange face-to-face version (B5 63 to 315), NEMA standards (56 to 405) and COMPACT LINE for the mounting in the rear part of an electric motor or to a transmission unit. Certifications such as ATEX, IECEX, INMETRO, KTL, and CSA.
Standard modular brakes have the same concept of functionality for Safe Areas allowing to make a brake motor for safe areas in a very cost-effective way from frame IEC71 to 225 and NEMA 56 to 404.
The assembling is very fast. Choosing the modular brake, is very easy to make a brake motor, reducing costs and delivery time.
The performance of modular brakes is particularly high and the strong structure makes them suitable for very heavy duty and for every kind of application (hoisting, travelling, positioning…).
The braking torque values are included between 3 to 16.000 Nm and the electromagnets are DC with built-in rectifier.
